Ryan, I'm in the process of purchasing a Knapton Twin. I've contacted Donek and we've got the ball rolling. However their suggesting a board longer in length than I actually want. I'm 6 feet tall 70 kilos 155lbs. I would like a board at 155 in length with a 29cm waist. What do you think ? Anybody else who could give a valued opinion would ge great as well. Many thanks.

I know this video is pretty old at this point, but I'd love to know more about what you've got going on for setup (stance angles, board waist width, scr... all that stuff). Just picked up some rando alpine equipment to try it out up here on Hood and presuming I like it I'll probaly dive more into it. Your board definitely looks wider than the average alpine board that I've seen, which may be a good fit since it probably means you won't boot out with normal angles (50-45 degrees). Anyways, interested to know more!

I feel like heel lift is the most annoying thing ever but I'm pretty sure thats because my k2 maysis has a single boa and no internal lacing. do you think that this would work as a symmetrical vsr? 9m-11m-9m

Hi Ryan, I just found out about bomber canting plates. I saw your video from 9 years ago and left a question there but being such an old video I wasn't sure you would see it. This is why I am taking a chance asking about it here. I know you now ride super wide boards and probably do not need those plate on risers but I would like to get your opinion about them now 9 years later. would you still use them if your boards were narrower or are they no longer worth the price. In my case I was interested because of the canting possibility. In other reviews there was mention that they were quite heavy. Your comments on that also would be nice. Thanks in advance. Hi Ryan, I just now found out about the power plate (2024). I see on the bomber site that they are still available. Do you still use them? I know you now ride much wider boards but would you still recommend the power plates. I'm not that worried about boot out, in my case I wanted the canting option and maybe an easier edge. Some say they are very heavy. So... what is your take on the plates now ten years later. thanks!

I broke open my new board (skeleton key), step on bindings, and the Felix boots this weekend. GAME CHANGER!!! Holy mackerel, my feet were so cozy! The only trouble I’m having is some ankle pain, but maybe the straps are too tight… Now that I’ve seen you carve with these, no excuses for me! 😂

That point you lost a bit of traction at 57 seconds was where the snow plough made a larger groove than usual and it just so happened your board edge coincidentally converged into that groove.

Just back from Val Thornes, 3 Valleys France for a week, spring snowboarding very warm and runs no where near as perfect as that, Im well jealous. But thats the head cleared of the buzz fuzz noise for a while😉
